While I was reversing my car on my driveway, I heard the loud pop sound and back window was shattered. My car did not hit any thing. It just happened without any impact. I have been told that this is an ongoing problem with this vehicle and manufacturer has back order for the windows and no time frame when it can be replaced.
Rear lift gate window shattered while parked. Nothing came into contact with the vehicle or the glass before it shattered. Reached out to insurance company and was referred to Safelite. Safelite inspected the glass and crash wrapped the window.

For some unknown reason while car was in garage the rear window blew out. I have been told that this is an ongoing problem with this vehicle and manufacturer has no replacement windows available and no time frame when it can be replaced.

Source: NHTSA complaint database, recalls and manufacturer communicationsAre visibility and wiper problems common on the 2019 Acura RDX?
They are documented: NHTSA holds 113 owner complaints naming the wipers, glass and mirrors on this model year (26% of everything owners filed about it), and 40 manufacturer bulletins are filed under the same heading. Whether it is a problem on one particular car is a diagnosis, not a count, and a count says nothing about how many were sold.

No recall campaign is filed under this heading for this model year (there are 5 filed under other headings). A bulletin is not a recall: it carries no federal duty to repair for free.
When do visibility and wiper problems show up on the 2019 Acura RDX?
Owners who gave an odometer reading reported it at a median of 54,000 miles; half of them between 40,000 and 70,000. That is when reports cluster, not the life of a part.
What does NHTSA's "Visibility/Wiper" heading cover?
Windshields, wipers, washers, mirrors and defrosters. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
