Problem Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2024 Huracan EVO Spyder vehicles. The right front frame bracket may have been installed on the wrong side of the vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Risk In the event of a crash, an incorrectly installed frame bracket may not provide adequate protection to an unbelted passenger, increasing the risk of injury. Fix Dealers will inspect and reassemble the bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 15, 2024. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L62X-R.03.24.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. L62X-R.03.24 is the number Lamborghini assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 24V701000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
