A certified Honda technician found undisclosed non-factory wiring, exposed wires, removed aftermarket alarm components, BCM communication failure, and multiple hard codes that cannot be cleared. The vehicle has serious electrical defects that affect engine communication and safety systems.
Started the car and the system was not booting up Properly. Had to restart the car a few times for the system to boot up properly. Took 3 min to start up after restarting the car. No error codes just major lag and delay. Car was updated to the most current update and no new updates were available at the moment.
The infotainment system, audio, and warnings about parking collisions and lane keep assist are glitchy. The audio skips and stutters making hands free impossible. It makes commuting dangerous. Honda Corp and the dealership are saying there is no recall and nothing they can do with no eta on a fix.
