Recall was issued 5/10/2023. No repair is available at this time. Driving this vehicle is a safety risk to my family and myself
Manufacture is not offering any solution or remedy. They’re also not offering replacement transportation. This is not only a safety issue for everyone, but I am very pregnant and my belly is right in the airbag. It’s unacceptable this is not being corrected or replacement transportation offered

They are documented: NHTSA holds 130 owner complaints naming the airbags on this model year (55% of everything owners filed about it), and 2 recalls are filed under the same heading. Whether it is a problem on one particular car is a diagnosis, not a count, and a count says nothing about how many were sold.

Yes — 2 campaigns are filed under this heading: 23V334000, 21V246000. A recall is matched by VIN; check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
When do airbag problems show up on the 2016 GMC Acadia?
Too few of the complaints carry an odometer reading to say. The model year's page shows the mileage curve across every system where it can.
What does NHTSA's "Air Bags" heading cover?
Airbags, their sensors and warning lights. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
