Volvo Car Investigations have identified that iCUP vehicles with a software version earlier than V2.3 need updating to ensure the proper functioning of the mobile app’s features. As a result, there is a possibility of losing remote functions in the Volvo Car App, such as lock/unlock and climate control. The corrective action is to perform a total software upgrade. S10266 affects 413 vehicles in the U.S and 9 in Canada.

A/C failed to turn on. This is the second time this has occurred. It was on a 100 degree Texas day. I was already in the vehicle and it was so hot in the vehicle I was worried about a heat stroke. It caused a distraction while driving because the electrical components weren’t functioning as intended potentially causing an accident.

On November 11, 2023 @ between 10:30 and noon, the vehicle infotainment system completely failed. The screen went blank and functions for heat, radio, navigation, cameras, indicator lights in the mirror and the ability to call Volvo emergency services were all lost.
