Terberg Benschop B.v. service campaign CAM0187
Terberg Benschop B.v. filed this with NHTSA as a service campaign dated Jan 16, 2026, received Oct 17, 2025, about the engine — 4 documents under this number: 20-0033, 60-0004, 40-0001. It names 5 model years (2021–2025). A service campaign is not a safety recall — there is no NHTSA campaign number and no federal requirement — but it is usually work the manufacturer pays for on the vehicles it names; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.
What the bulletin says
Source: NHTSA's summary of the manufacturer's communicationDuring the initial phase of series production of the YT193 DOT vehicle, Terberg implemented several product improvements aimed at enhancing reliability and uptime: - Aftertreatment System Cover: The shape of the cover has been redesigned to prevent contact with the air inlet. - Air Intake Noise Damper: The damper on the compressor air intake has been reinforced to better withstand vibrations and improve durability. To ensure these improvements are applied to vehicles already in the field, we are launching a campaign to retrofit the updated components. Some vehicles were already equipped with the improved noise damper during production. Therefore, the attached VIN list includes a column indicating whether the noise damper requires replacement for each specific vehicle.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

None of these model years has a page on this site (it covers EPA-certified cars, trucks and SUVs from 2016), so the bulletin is listed here on its own.
