Maserati service campaign RAPID UPDATE 823

Maserati filed this with NHTSA as a service campaign dated Aug 17, 2026, received Aug 18, 2026, about the unknown or other — 1 document under this number: MAS005221 RU 26-14. It names 3 model years (2024–2025). A service campaign is not a safety recall — there is no NHTSA campaign number and no federal requirement — but it is usually work the manufacturer pays for on the vehicles it names; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.

What the bulletin says

Due to a software anomaly, the BPCM may not correctly evaluate the battery State of Health (SOH) on some vehicles. This may result in charging limitations and/or an inaccurate estimate of the remaining driving range. These conditions may display incorrect information to the customer and affect the customer's perception of the vehicle's reliability. This service campaign is intended to ensure proper operation of the battery management system.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

Model years it names

Also filed against model years this site has no page for: 2024 Maserati Nuova Granturismo; 2025 Maserati Nuova Granturismo.

A vehicle page’s bulletin list shows the newest few communications filed against that model year; the count there is every one.
