This may be due to a communication error between the body control module (BCM) and AWD module. Replacement or reprogramming of the BCM and/or AWD module will not resolve this condition. U0422:00 should be ignored and no further service action is required if no other DTCs are present in the BCM and/or AWD module, the BCM is configured correctly, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running, and no symptoms present.
