Lexus is providing extended coverage under this Customer Support Program for repairs related to excessive corrosion to the wire harness connections at the Rear Motor Generator. When removing foot from gas pedal the rpm shoot up to almost 4k instead of switching to EV mode or dropping to 1k rpm’s. This has scared my wife causing her to slam on brakes as she thought throttle was stuck since the rpm’s shot up. This is dangerous. It doesn’t happen all the time and Lexus did duplicate it but said was normal
