When driving at a low rate of speed to stop, when you hit a bump or uneven road, the brakes lock up, the vehicle will lurch, and will not stop. This has happened several times on pavement, gravel roads, and dirt roads. I have had to steer off the road to keep from going into oncoming traffic.

Two times my car has lost its ability to break, and when I try to break it feels like the break pedal was very hard to push down. The car was very lurchy but finally came to a stop when the breaks finally engaged. The feeling is like when you press on the breaks when you are sliding on ice.
