Some Palisade Hybrid (LX3 HEV) vehicles may exhibit continuous engine operation due to the vehicle being unable to enter EV/HEV modes. The vehicle may initially start in EV/HEV mode, but will quickly transition to running the engine only and will not revert back to EV/HEV mode. The “EV” light may intermittently flicker on, but the vehicle will not change modes. This bulletin provides instructions to perform the “Evaporative Leakage Test” function on the GDS to enable EV/HEV mode activation.
