This may be due to the current software of the ABS module. To correct the condition, reprogram the ABS module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use the causal part number 2005 and applicable labor operations in Section 02 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

I was slowly backing out of a parking space at the Circle K gas station on July 3, 2024, on Battleground Avenue in Greensboro, NC, and applied the brakes when the warning alert sounded that there was cross traffic. I immediately applied the brakes, but to no avail.
