Problem Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain 2020 Wonder W24RTB, W24MB, and W24FTB motorhomes built on a Ford transit chassis. The CCP1 electrical connection located on the driver's seat base was not tightened to the correct specification and may short circuit. Risk If the CCP1 electrical connection short circuits, there would be an increased risk of a fire. Fix Triple E has notified owners, and dealers will tighten the electrical connection to specification, free of charge. This recall began June 26, 2020. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#9711-1.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. CA#9711-1 is the number Wonder assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 20V370000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.

Common questions
