Problem Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 2025-SRC-07 is the number Orange EV assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 25V612000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
