Problem Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Huracan vehicles. The headlights may be incorrectly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Incorrectly adjusted headlights can reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will update the software to deactivate the headlight functions for Tourist Mode and the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2024. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L62X-R.01.24.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. L62X-R.01.24 is the number Lamborghini assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 23V826000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
