Problem International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2025 CV vehicles. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit. Risk An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked. Fix Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the brake pressure switch/fuse harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 22, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25507. Vehicles in this recall that were previously repaired under 23V282 will need to have the new remedy completed.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 25507 is the number International assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 25V414000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
