Problem Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2023 Imagine AIM travel trailers. The Federal Certification Label incorrectly states the tire size and inflation pressure requirement. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Risk Incorrect tire size and inflation requirements may cause premature tread wear or a tire blow out, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2023. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910033.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 910033 is the number Grand Design assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 23V151000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
