(Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Glaval Concorde II, Entourage, Legacy, Primetime, Universal, Commute, Startrans Candidate II, P/S2, Senator II, Senator II HD, Senator II MPV, and MFSAB buses. The driver's upper seat belt restraint and bottom retractor anchor bolts may not have been fully tightened during manufacturing, and, as a result, the bolts may loosen. Fix Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the tightness of the affected bolts, free of charge. The recall began August 27, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 05-1061.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 05-1061 is the number Glaval BUS assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 19V542000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
