Problem Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2009-2017 Georgetown Class A motorhomes. The amber turn signal lens has an undersized reflective surface. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Inadequately reflective turn signals can make it difficult for other drivers to see when the vehicle intends to turn, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will replace the turn signal, and bulb, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 11, 2025. Owners may call Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1875.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 68-1875 is the number Forest River assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 24V913000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
