Problem REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2019 Fleetwood Flair Model 32 S and Holiday Rambler Admiral Model 32 S motorhomes. The generator exhaust pipe placement exits the motorhome within the vehicle's departure angle. Risk If motorhome is driven on an incline, the generator exhaust pipe may get damaged, possibly resulting in carbon monoxide entering the vehicle when the generator is running, increasing the risk of injury or death. Fix REV has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and reroute the generator exhaust pipe, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began May 21, 2019. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV's number for this recall is 190412REV.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 190412REV is the number Fleetwood assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 19V306000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
