Problem Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2025 Entegra Reatta XL, Reatta, 2026 Cornerstone Reserve, 2024-2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem motorhomes built on certain Spartan K1, K2, and K4 chassis. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. Shyft Group 26V-292 is the number Entegra assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 26V484000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
