Problem Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jayco Atlante, Precept, Precept Prestige, Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL motorhomes. The rear stabilizer bar attachment brackets may break and separate from the vehicle. Risk Brackets that separate from the vehicle can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will inspect the bolt tightness for both rear stabilizer attachment brackets and replace the weld nuts, bolts, and brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Ford 22V-731.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. Ford 22V-731 is the number Entegra assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 23V217000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
