Problem Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, and Reatta XL motorhomes. The pedestal mounting plate on the passenger's seat may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems" and number 210, "Seat belt assembly anchorages." Risk A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury. Fix Dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903602.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 9903602 is the number Entegra assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 24V061000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.

Common questions

Is 9903602 the same recall as 24V061000?

Yes. 9903602 is Entegra’s own number for it; 24V061000 is NHTSA’s. One recall, two references.

Which vehicles does 9903602 cover?

2008–2023 Entegra Anthem and 3 other Entegra models, 148 vehicles by the manufacturer’s count. A recall covers a build range, so the VIN decides whether one particular vehicle is in it.
