Problem Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2019 Entegra Emblem and Vision motorhomes. When traveling at highway speeds, the windshield wiper arms may lift away from the windshield when the wiper speed setting is on high, decreasing the wiper's ability to clear the windshield. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems." Risk The driver's reduced visibility can increase the risk of a crash. Fix Entegra has notified owners, and dealers will replace the wiper system, free of charge. The recall began on July 30, 2018. Owners may contact Entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Entegra's number for this recall is 9903403.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 9903403 is the number Entegra assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 18V446000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
