Problem Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021 Dutchmen Voltage 3915 and 4225 recreational trailers. The Federal Identification Tag incorrectly lists the recommended tire pressure as 95 PSI, instead of the correct tire pressure of 110 PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification." Risk Incorrect PSI information on the label could cause the tires to be underinflated, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the Federal Identification Tag, free of charge. The recall began February 3, 2021. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 21-400.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 21-400 is the number Dutchmen assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 21V022000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.

Common questions
