Problem DRV Suites (DRV) is recalling certain model year 2017 Full House recreational trailers, models JX450, LX410, LX450 and LX455, manufactured August 29, 2016, to November 30, 2016. The affected vehicles have rear cargo door hinges with welds on the hinge pin and hinge plate that may be insufficient, and as a result, the top of the door may swing down with more force than normal. Risk If the door does not open as expected, there would be an increased risk of injury to those in the door's path. Fix DRV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the weld thickness, and if necessary replace the hinge, free of charge. The recall began on January 11, 2017. Owners may contact DRV customer service at 1-260-562-3500. DRV's number for this recall is 99.02.07.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. 99.02.07 is the number DRV assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 16V896000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
