Problem Dennis Eagle, Inc. (Dennis Eagle) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Proview vehicles. The front turn signal indicator lights may not flash brightly enough. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Dim turn signal indicator lights may reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will replace the lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 5, 2023. Owners may contact Dennis Eagle customer service at 1-813-440-8136. Dennis Eagles number for this recall is FSI1691-CP013.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. FSI1691 - CP013 is the number Dennis Eagle assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 23V089000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
