Problem Aston Martin The Americas (Aston Martin) is recalling certain 2024 Valkyrie vehicles. Incorrect length screws were used to attach the rear fuse box closing panel, which may result in damage to the wiring harness. Risk A damaged wiring harness can lose electrical power and result in the engine stalling or loss of headlights, power assisted steering, and other critical vehicle functions, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will replace the fuse box closing panel screws and, if necessary, replace any damaged components, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 29, 2025. Owners may contact Aston Martin customer service at 1-888-923-9988. Aston Martin's number for this recall is RA-18-2044.

Two numbers, one recall

Every safety recall carries two identifiers. RA-18-2044 is the number Aston Martin assigned in its own system: it is what appears on the owner letter, on the dealer’s service screen and on the repair order. 25V300000 is the number NHTSA filed the same recall under when the manufacturer reported it, and it is the one every federal record, this site included, is keyed on.

The repair is free by federal law for vehicles up to fifteen years old. Whether one particular vehicle is included is settled by its VIN against the manufacturer’s build list, not by its model year.

Check one specific vehicle

Both lookups check a VIN against the manufacturer’s own list and say whether the repair is still outstanding on that vehicle.
