This distortion may be due to the projector film in the door mirror foot light becoming damaged due to heat and moisture. Although the door mirror foot light is covered by Toyota’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first), we at Toyota care about the customers’ ownership experience. Toyota is providing coverage for repairs related to the condition described above.

There is so many customers that is having the same problem with the replacement of transmission at only at 38,000 miles there has to be an issues with the Toyota CHR my car now is make the same humming noise it started out low and now it’s very loud only for find it need a new transmission.

Front camera has gone out several times since purchasing august 2019. I've been told by the dealership it is "sensitive" to the heat. The ebs has failed twice since march 2020.. Both issues happened while in motion.
