APPLICABLE WARRANTY: This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date. Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Throw out bearing failing at 48,500 miles. Dealer refused to cover repair. This is a known issue for which there is a dealer TSB with a revised part and better grease that does not dry out. Issue is revealed by squealing sound at start up, which dealer replicated and confirmed issue is bad throw out bearing.
