Rivian service campaign FSAM-1629
Rivian filed this with NHTSA as a service campaign dated Feb 24, 2026, received Mar 4, 2026, about the structure — 1 document under this number: RCA-56-26-001-1. It names 4 model years (2022–2024). A service campaign is not a safety recall — there is no NHTSA campaign number and no federal requirement — but it is usually work the manufacturer pays for on the vehicles it names; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.
What the bulletin says
Source: NHTSA's summary of the manufacturer's communicationRivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2022-2024 EDV and RCV vehicles. These vehicles may have been manufactured with a front passenger side door that is prone to cracking. If cracking occurs, the door is unable to be latched in the open position. Vehicle ingress and egress is not affected. Rivian will install a reinforcement plate onto the front passenger side door and a shim in the door track to prevent this condition. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.
Model years it names

None of these model years has a page on this site (it covers EPA-certified cars, trucks and SUVs from 2016), so the bulletin is listed here on its own.
