Following release of a previous DIM software release (IP18O.02), a false positive telematic notification is triggered in Central and South Americas vehicles which are not fitted with a Telematics Module (TEM). This generates an unnecessary warning symbol and failure message in the DIM for those market vehicles. A new global DIM software upgrade is available on EmiraDS classed as ‘Urgent’ for those market vehicles to resolve this issue. This upgrade is classed as ‘Non-urgent’ for all other market vehicles. Because this is a ‘Non-urgent’ upgrade, it is recommended to only perform this specific software upgrade in the event that the vehicle enters the workshop for any other service, repair or Class 2 action campaign work etc, allowing this upgrade to download at the same time. Any affected vehicle’s campaign status will be displayed on the Lotus Commercial Management System (LCMS). This software upgrade will not affect current vehicle functionality.
