This bulletin provides information to upgrade the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) system software on certain 2026MY EV9 (MV1a) vehicles produced from January 2, 2025 through November 3, 2025, where the Integrated Electronic Brake (IEB) Controller Area Network (CAN) times out on startup, resulting in a DTC warning light and failure to restart charging when the connector remains connected after charging is completed. This condition is not associated with any braking or drivability symptoms.
