Stellantis bulletin S2624000004 REV. A

What it saysA/C Inoperative, A/C Relay Not Engaging. NHTSA’s full summary ↓

Stellantis filed this with NHTSA as a service bulletin dated Jun 16, 2026, received Mar 13, 2026, about the electrical system — 3 documents under this number: S2624000004 REV. B, S2624000004 and 1 more. It names 6 model years across Jeep and Ram (2025–2026). A service bulletin is not a safety recall: it is the manufacturer telling its dealers how to diagnose or repair a condition, and whether the work is paid for depends on the warranty in force. Quoting the number at a service desk can save a diagnosis.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

What owners reported

Source: NHTSA complaint database

Owners of the 6 model years this bulletin names have filed 518 complaints with NHTSA since 2015. 275 of them name Electrical System — the same broad component group this bulletin is filed under. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so that means the same area of the vehicle, not necessarily the same fault.

On the 2025 Ram 1500, the 24 owners who gave an odometer reading for Electrical System reported it at a median of 6,000 miles. That figure is one model year’s, not the whole range this bulletin covers — medians from different model years are not averaged.

For the past year I have been dealing with multiple vehicle failures with our 2025 Jeep Wagoneer. I have worked with my dealer a dozen times. Adnt he vehicle has been under service for roughly 13 weeks. Each time the dealership tells me the issue was a software update or they were not able to "recreate the issue".

2025 Jeep Wagoneer · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Jul 10, 2026

I purchased this vehicle 04/15/2025. Starting at less than 500 miles the Blind Spot Indicator Warning Lights along with the ABS Braking System Warning Lights randomly come on while driving. To receive random warning light notices and sounds while driving is extremely startling and concerning.

2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Aug 16, 2025

Rear climate control system fails to provide cooled air to the second and third rows during normal vehicle operation. Front vents produce cold air while rear vents blow warm to hot air despite temperature settings at minimum, high fan speed, and recirculation enabled.

A complaint is one owner’s account, not a defect finding, and a bulletin is not a recall. Nothing here says this bulletin was issued because of these complaints, or that the repair it describes fixed them. Complaint files on this site begin in 2015.

Common questions

Source: NHTSA, 49 CFR 579.5

Is Stellantis S2624000004 REV. A a recall?

No. A service bulletin is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.

Is the S2624000004 REV. A repair free?

Not automatically. A service bulletin describes how to diagnose or repair a condition; who pays depends on the warranty in force, any extension, and the dealer. Quoting the number can save a diagnosis either way.

Which vehicles does S2624000004 REV. A cover?

The manufacturer filed it against 6 model years across 2 brands (Jeep and Ram): 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2026 Jeep Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2026 Ram 1500, 2025 Ram 1500. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
