If the lens is damaged, it may appear that some of the DRL LEDs are not working. American Honda is extending the warranty on the DRL LEDs to 10 years with unlimited mileage from the original date of purchase. This warranty extension will not apply to any vehicle that has ever been declared a total loss or sold for salvage by a financial institution or insurer, or has a branded or similar title under any state's law.

I purchased this car and noticed the drive and passenger LED light bars continue to burn out, even after warranty expires. When taken to the dealership, they will not honor replacements after warranty. Replacement costs are~1700. This has been an ongoing issue with Honda on these vehicles and should be covered until permanent fix is found

Many new cars are now equipped with daytime running lights. I have experienced many drivers including myself, who have started out driving at dusk and not realized that they are driving with the daytime running lights on only. The vehicles taillights are not operable with only the daytime running lights activated.
