Brinkley RV service campaign REC-2402
Brinkley RV filed this with NHTSA as a service campaign dated Oct 9, 2024, received Nov 4, 2024, about the structure. It names 1 model year (2025). A service campaign is not a safety recall — there is no NHTSA campaign number and no federal requirement — but it is usually work the manufacturer pays for on the vehicles it names; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.
What the bulletin says
Source: NHTSA's summary of the manufacturer's communicationOn certain Model Z-Air Travel Trailers (total population of 7), the draw bars on the A-frames were built with under-sized steel members. The frame structure is constructed appropriately for expected usage but has minimal Safety Factor above the vehicles’ rated GVWR. Under certain dynamic loading conditions, the steel beams in the A-frame could yield. Over time, significant loading events could compromise a unit’s structural integrity if unaddressed. This is based on an internal design standard (elevated Safety Factor) used by the chassis supplier. There is no work instruction for this work, as the supplier reached out and completed this work through their internal service team, without having dealers or mobile techs complete any work. At the time of this submittal, all 7 units in the population have had the work completed.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.
Model years it names

None of these model years has a page on this site (it covers EPA-certified cars, trucks and SUVs from 2016), so the bulletin is listed here on its own.
