What it saysCluster Assembly When the technician connects to the vehicle via Witech, they observe Stored and/or Pending DTC in the IPC for KM49, LB, KM74 Programs. NHTSA’s full summary ↓
Stellantis filed this with NHTSA as a service bulletin dated Aug 7, 2026, received Aug 13, 2026, about the electrical system. It names 9 model years across Jeep and Dodge (2024–2027). A service bulletin is not a safety recall: it is the manufacturer telling its dealers how to diagnose or repair a condition, and whether the work is paid for depends on the warranty in force. Quoting the number at a service desk can save a diagnosis.

What the bulletin says
Source: NHTSA's summary of the manufacturer's communicationCluster Assembly When the technician connects to the vehicle via Witech, they observe Stored and/or Pending DTC in the IPC for KM49, LB, KM74 Programs. The instrument cluster should not be replaced based solely on the presence of stored or pending DTCs in the IPC. Replacement should only be considered if the stored or pending DTC becomes active during the troubleshooting and diagnostic process.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

What owners reported
Source: NHTSA complaint databaseOwners of the 6 model years this bulletin names have filed 133 complaints with NHTSA since 2015. 89 of them name Electrical System — the same broad component group this bulletin is filed under. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so that means the same area of the vehicle, not necessarily the same fault.
I am filing a safety defect complaint regarding a 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona (400V electric vehicle platform) that suffered a catastrophic high-voltage system shutdown at approximately 1,261 miles. The vehicle had charge remaining and was being prepared for charging when it experienced a forced EV system shutdown and would not restart.

For the past year I have been dealing with multiple vehicle failures with our 2025 Jeep Wagoneer. I have worked with my dealer a dozen times. Adnt he vehicle has been under service for roughly 13 weeks. Each time the dealership tells me the issue was a software update or they were not able to "recreate the issue".
2025 Jeep Wagoneer · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Jul 10, 2026
I am reporting an ongoing electrical/charging system problem with my 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T. During August 2026 alone, my vehicle has been taken to the Dodge dealership four times for electrical-related problems, recalls, software updates, and/or repairs.
2024 Dodge Charger · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Aug 14, 2026
A complaint is one owner’s account, not a defect finding, and a bulletin is not a recall. Nothing here says this bulletin was issued because of these complaints, or that the repair it describes fixed them. Complaint files on this site begin in 2015.

Common questions
Source: NHTSA, 49 CFR 579.5Is Stellantis 9100880 a recall?
No. A service bulletin is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.
Is the 9100880 repair free?
Not automatically. A service bulletin describes how to diagnose or repair a condition; who pays depends on the warranty in force, any extension, and the dealer. Quoting the number can save a diagnosis either way.
Which vehicles does 9100880 cover?
The manufacturer filed it against 9 model years across 2 brands (Jeep and Dodge): 2026 Dodge Charger, 2025 Dodge Charger, 2024 Dodge Charger, 2026 Jeep Cherokee, 2026 Jeep Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer and more. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
