Platinum 4X2

The Platinum swaps the XL's 2.7L engine for a 3.5L V6, adding 75 hp and 100 lb-ft of torque and raising payload capacity from 1,775 to 2,440 lbs. It seats 5 instead of 3, rides on 20-in aluminum wheels instead of 17-in steel, and adds electronic shift 4x4 with neutral towing. Cargo volume behind row 1 drops from 77.4 to 52.8 cu-ft, and city MPG falls from 19 to 17.

Pick the XL if: You want more cargo space, better city MPG, and need only 3 seats.  ·  Pick the Platinum if: You need higher payload, more power, 5-seat capacity, and 4x4 capability.
