The left rear axle half shaft may partially disengage from the power drive unit, which can result in a loss of drive power.","consequence":"A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. In addition, a half shaft that is not fully engaged to the primary drive unit can result in a vehicle rollaway if the parking brake is not applied, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.","remedy":"Dealer will inspect and replace the rear half shaft and power drive unit components as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 3, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.  Ford's number for this recall is 25SD9. The tray side rails for the high voltage battery pack may buckle and crack, allowing water to enter the battery.","consequence":"Water inside a high voltage battery can cause an electrical short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.","remedy":"Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete.  Dealers will inspect and replace, or repair the battery assembly as necessary, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2025.  Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
